Zakupomat in Claude and ChatGPT

Connect your shopping list to an AI assistant. Claude or ChatGPT can add the ingredients from a recipe, arrange the product database by your shop's floor plan and tick off what you've bought — and everyone in the household sees the changes in the app straight away.

What you need

Your household key or invite link. In the app: menu ⋮ → Invite someone.
Claude or ChatGPT on the web, on your phone or on your computer. Once added, the connection works in all of them.

Claude

Open Settings → Connectors and choose “Add custom connector”.
Name it Zakupomat and paste the connector address above. Save.
Click “Connect”. Zakupomat's page opens: paste your household key or invite link and click “Connect”.
Start a new chat and just ask. If Zakupomat isn't switched on, turn it on in the chat's tools menu.

ChatGPT

On chatgpt.com (in the browser), open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode. It's available on the Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu plans, not on Free.
Go to Plugins, press + and create a plugin: name it Zakupomat, paste the connector address above and choose OAuth as the authentication.
Connect: Zakupomat's page opens, paste your household key or invite link and click “Connect”.
In a chat, open the + menu → Developer mode and choose Zakupomat. ChatGPT asks you to confirm each change to the list.

We're working on getting Zakupomat into the Claude and ChatGPT directories. Then you'll just pick it from the list — no address to paste.

What you can ask for

Anything you'd ask a helpful person with the list in their hands. A few ideas, from simple to ambitious:

Here's a cheesecake recipe. Add all the ingredients except eggs to the list, and if something's already there, increase the amount.
Attached is a floor plan of our supermarket. Arrange the products in the database so I can get through the shop in one walk.
Plan dinners for four for the week, one of them vegetarian, and add what we're missing. We already have rice, pasta and onions.
Here's a photo of my receipt. Tick off everything I bought, then finish shopping and leave the rest for next time.
Go through the product database: fix typos, merge duplicates like “yoghurt” and “Natural yoghurt”, and put new products where they belong in the shop order.
I'm in the shop. Read the list out in order and tick things off as I tell you I've got them.
Add milk, 2 kg of apples and something for a headache.

What the assistant sees

The assistant gets access to your household's list and product database — nothing else. It never sees the key: you paste it on Zakupomat's own page, and the assistant receives only an access token, which we store as an irreversible hash.

Whatever the assistant reads from the list goes to its provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) and is covered by their terms. You can disconnect in the assistant's settings; deleting your household in the app disconnects it too. Privacy policy

For developers

Zakupomat is a remote MCP server with OAuth. In Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http zakupomat https://api.zakupomat.app/mcp

then run /mcp and sign in with your household key. Other MCP clients that support OAuth work the same way.
